I have gotten a couple of comments lately that I appreciate--thank you! Anyway, I know I haven't posted in a long time--what can I say--I am a mother of little children. But I did want to share an experience I had. I just called my grandmother and told her that I am pregnant with our third child, and she was very excited for me. She spoke about children being a blessing from God and about how many people don't see it like that anymore. She told me that when my aunt used to tell her she was pregnant and my grandmother got excited for her, my aunt would say she loved that because many people were mean to her when they found out she was pregnant again. So grandmother told me that if anyone is ever nasty to me about having children, to just remember how excited she is for me, and what that having children is a commandment and a blessing. Thank you Grandma!
Also, I just read a good book about a large Mormon family that was pretty good. It is called "A House of Many Rooms."
I love it! Your grandma is a wise, sweet woman. :-) And congratulations!!! I want to check that book out! I was beginning to think that we large LDS families are a dying breed. :-(
